Another HACKTOOl.ROOTKIT issue

I have easily removed this from systems before, but this one is baffling me.

Finding remon.sys as it has every other time.
Please help !!

hi! i have the same problem. you said you were able to remove it the first time. Please help me with these problem. I couldn't remove neither does my my norton. My pc has the remon virus.please help and make it simple please. thanks.

i was working on this PC remotely, (hence all the logmein rescue stuff), but i had run numerous spyware checks etc, finding nothing.

none of the usual processes exist for hacktool.rootkit

im either missing something incredibly simple, or just useless :s
