Any help with my presario 700

Ok i installed XP (original cd) on my presario, but it took 2 days to install it, everything was so slow to install and now that is installed xp won't open. This is the second time I installed and the same problem persists.

I would like to know what kind of problem I am having on my Presario.

Could someone help me? And if I can't find or fix this problem, can someone install XP for me and let me know how much.

your laptop's specs explain the slowness. boot the the xp cd and in the setup delete ALL your partitions, then proceed.

if you want someone to work on your computer take it to a local PC repair shop.

Laptops need proprietary software and drivers direct from the Manufacturer.You will need to do some reading at their site to confirm that that machine can run XP.
