Any idea what rtledservice.exe is or does?

  1. I get a message about this file from my firewall...and I don't know if it's good or bad. I'm using Windows 7.

    hard to find, but a chinese site says it's the sound driver

    for the record; which FW gives you the notice?

    Comodo. I'm thinking it's a soundcard update file...just from what I saw earlier that I can't remember now, but at the time I thought--Oh, that must be what that file is. I'm still not sure though. But what you said leads me to believe I'm right.

    yea... looking online, it would appear to be an executable from Realtek. So it might even be a digitally signed file

    If you locate the file on disk, rt click then look for a Digital Signature tab
