Anybody use Verizon Home Internet?

    I was thinking about switching seeing thats its wireless and just uses a usb stick, no wires. Right now i am using hard wired internet at 10meg. I would like to keep the same speed would i be better off just going with a wireless router or going the Verizon route?

    Yea, I've a friend with Verizon and it's ok, but consider this:
    • any wired connection to a modem and/or router is better than WiFi
    • any WiFi will be less secure and bandwidth will suffer
    Use a PC-WiFi connection to YOUR router only when there is no other choice.

    The FiOS connection is great,
    the DSL choice is S L O W in comparison
    and a WiFi only connection (eg satellite) is even worse.

    "and/or router"? So im going to get about the same speed using hard wired or a wireless router? And both of those are going to be faster than Wifi correct?

    Right now im using DSL hard wired at 10 meg.
