Anyone use check printing software? Any recommendations?

Hey All!

Does anyone use any check printing software?

A relative (which means i do tech support!) asked about using check printing software. I've never used it myself so wondering if anyone has experience / recommendations about checking printing software apps?

Some basic requirements
  • Windows PC based
  • Suitable for a one or two user, small business environment
  • Easy to use by noobs who typically only do basic stuff with apps like Office, email and Picassa
  • So a simple / easy / intuitive user interface is also a big plus both for them AND for me! (who will end-up doing all user and tech support :D )

Usually this is a feature in accounting software, eg Quickbooks and others.

The forms (aka checks) are special order items available from various providers and the
accounting software has the option to Write Check Manually or to mark the account paid (thus closing the account payable)
and queueing the check writting as a separate task. All checks in the queue get printed at one time.
