  1. Is it possible to change boot settings to a slave drive? I've connected my errorous laptop 2.5 hard drive to my desktop and made it a slave drive. I'm sure theres an error in registry that prevents my laptop from going into safe mode, but normal mode worked fine before i changed msconfig settings to startup in safe mode. So now i'm stuck in a loop. I just want to disable the safemode boot.ini setting so my laptop will be able to get back into windows. If possible from the slave drive but if anyone knows of a better way please let me know. I'm in desperate need of help. thank you.
