  1. Construction on Apple's new campus in Cupertino, California, is running a bit behind schedule according to a new report. The company had hoped to have the facility ready to move into by 2015 but that target date is now being...

Oddly, the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" episode, "Encounter at Farpoint" sprang immediately to mind when I saw Apples plans: [IMG]

It's about an alien buried under an outpost, which the people at the station are killing, by draining the energy from it to support their needs.

Why I would draw that analogy with anything associated with Apple, is a complete puzzlement to me, and I'm frankly appalled and disgusted with myself for doing so......

They might as well SCRAP it....the "magic" that WAS Apple, is mostly over.
Every phone, since the original iPhone, pretty much looks & acts like the other.
iPad? Everyone has one, or a competitor. Laptop, too expensive in this economy.
Unless Apple comes out with a "gotta have" game changer, their magic is finished.

  4. The big game changer will be small capsules of DNA from Steve Jobs - the lineups around the Apple Store will be long and there be riots.

Only if Steve Jobs calls from beyond the grave and insists, "we need an app for that"....!

  8. I assume the apple-shaped toilets there will flush a special way there.

  9. It's reverse engineered from what they found from Roswell incident.. No wonder why they're branded as the most innovative company :D

Why don't they just cut the pretence and apply for planning permission to build an ivory tower?

Actually, the toilets won't be Apple shaped. That would be tantamount to blasphemy.

Besides, the bite mark in the seat lid might expose the bowl water, and whatever was floating in it,

The bathroom mirrors however, will be indeed be Apple logo shaped. That will facilitate checking out whether or not you're holding your iPhone correctly, to prevent dropped calls.

Now sidle right up to that Apple mirror you handsome roguish devil, and comb that hair like you're Liberace. Make your uncle Narcissus proud...

I'm not against progress, but I will say this...

May the first iRocket land on Mr. Cook's house.

Many's the time I've thought to myself, "if had a gallon or two of, "Essence of Job", I'd be a rich man after I auctioned it off on Ebay.

I'm sure Apple has a tank car full of it, sitting on a rail siding somewhere
