  1. I have a large video library including tons of tv and other things but its taking up lots of space. What application can I use to reduce the size of but still keep high quality for hundreds of videos and not take too long? Doesn't have to be free it just has to work fast and well.

    Thank you.

Should have just said "concur" LNCPapa heh. I was kind of in a hurry last night. But to expand on it... Nothing you are going to do with video encoding is going to be fast. Now certain programs might be coded a bit better or choosing a different codec will change your times. But video transcoding is really only going to be sped up in any significant way by getting a faster CPU or GPU assisted (which I don't know much about).

With that said Handbrake, is a solid answer to your question, and I believe it is the best solution with the information we have at hand.

Hamster video converter - coverts to different formats and you can adjust the size of the videos too :)
