Applications running slow, CPU fan is going fast

    My PC has games like GTA San Andreas, Counter Strike 1.3, Warcraft 3 Dota All Stars and Kill Switch. Also, I have applications such as, Adobe Photoshop CS3 Portable, Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash MX, etc. Oftentimes, while playing GTA San Andreas or Warcraft, I am experiencing slow motion movement of my screen. And if I still continue playing, my computer has shutdown, or sometimes, it restarts. I also noticed that my CPU fan is so fast.

    Are you familiar with this problem?

    Could be overheating, check the CPU temps when the machine shuts down.

    Thanks for the reply JMMD.

    I always checked my PC's temp. but its alright. Hmm... I only noticed that my CPU fan spins so fast. then it'll restart.

    What do you think?
