I'm a Seagate guy myself and find this a low blow to Western Digital while they are down. Come on Seagate let them re-build before you decide to collect.

The filing was probably from months ago and its just bad timing on the floods part that it co-incided with the outcome.
If the arbitrator guy felt WD was in the wrong they probably were. Just because they are flooded doesn't mean its ok to perform corporate espionage.
It's not just them, seagate cant ship anything either really since lots of components needed come from other factories still flooded.

If there was ever a time for both WD and Seagate to start shipping SSD's it's right now! Pretty sure they could both have a line of affordable reasonably fast entry level SSD's out by next year that will help them recover some money.

Western digital already ships an SSD they are just slow and nobody buys them. As for Seagate they still believe Hard drives are the future!
