Good Mornin'- I decided to try on trial the Ashampoo HDD Control to check my relatively new 160GB Hardrive. I was dismayed at the results!...According to this program, my HD's health and performance are poor and it said the the problems were either mechanical or electrical. My machine is a Compaq Presario SR1426NX circa 2004-5 w/ OEM PS. I've been suspicious of the PS for awhile, so I bought a new Corsair VX450W, but have yet to install it. Can anyone please offer some insight into my dilemna? I thank you in advance!
