Oh I see where the confusion is. On that downloads page, they label the burning software as FREE, which is strange considering that if it was a trial, it'd be labeled as such. There are other programs that are actually labeled FREE FULL VERSION, and I'd guess those mean exactly that. Maybe they just forgot to put it in the right category or....idk, but I can see why you'd be upset it if was misrepresented.

L know you were the only oine confused. That's why I thought I aimed the post directly
    at you
I don't remember if there were any uncheck options. But, If there were, I feel pretty confident, that I would have unchecked them. I'm usually pretty good about things like that.
I just had to erase a whole bunch of stuff. I was thinking that this was an e-mail. Caught myself right before I clicked submit reply Ray .

FWIW, could you post a screenshot or the link you clicked on so I could perhaps download it to see if any extras come with it?

Oh how soon we forget. I do not know how to do a screenshot.I know you tried to show me once. But, I didn't catch on:eek:
As far as the link goes Ashampoo was the give-a-way of the day. I clicked on give-a-way of the day.
I explained, when I first started this post, that when I tried to uninstall Ashampoo. It left stuff on my computer. Namely Bing search windows, and smaller ashampoo search windows on both Chrome, and FF.
Now you're asking me for the link,so you can see if any extras come with it. Do you think the Ashampoo, and Bing Browsers are just figment of my imagination? Or maybe you think I fibbed to you:confused: Ray

You can press the Prnt Scrn button on your keyboard. That will capture the whole screen. Or press Alt - Prnt Scrn to capture just the active window. The screen cap will be copied to the clipboard, then open Paint or some other image program, then paste, crop if needed, and save.

I use Irfan View. Small & simple. You have the option of saving the screen capture directly to file or display in the program, adjust color/add text/whatever, then save. Can also capture the entire screen or just a select area.

    Toolbar remover program.

There is a program which will list all the installed toolbars/BHO's on I.E, Firefox and Chrome.
If you choose to use it, at the end of the install part, there are 2 options, be sure to untick them, or you will have a different home page !
I have tried it, and seems ok.

It sort of worked. Enough so it was worth downloading.
Got rid of the short Ashampoo search windows in the upper left hand corner of all 3
    browsers.
But Bing is still the main browser window in IE and Chrome, and one of the choices in FF
    .
FF is just fine the way it is.. I like having browser choices.
I would like to have a Google search window in Google Chrome. Instead of Bing
Seems kind of weird, having a Google Chrome Browser, and having to go to FF
to use a Google search Window.
I don't really care what Search Window is in IE the only time i use it is when I get a new computer, Or when I bring my computer back to factory settings, and that's because it's the only one available
Even then I only use it once. To download and install FF, or Chrome.
So thank you very much. Your suggestion was not in vain. ( or is it vane?).

In Google Chrome left click the wrench & on the Basics Tab go to Options & click it.
Go down to Search & you should have a drop down menu. Pick Google & it should work. :approve:

For IE, simply click the tiny arrow next to the magnifying glass & choose Google. HTH :)
