Asus Eee PC 1201K spotted, uses AMD Geode processor

  1. A new Asus-crafted netbook has surfaced with a rather unorthodox spec sheet. Snapping the chains of conformity, the Eee PC 1201K employs an AMD Geode NX 1750 processor and a chipset from SiS, whereas most other models in the series use an Intel Atom or AMD Athlon Neo with associated chipsets from each respective chipmaker.
