Okay, Now for the interesting part According to the Motherboard Description in the Asus website i can fit a Quad Core processor on my Motherboard and it will run Perfectly fine. here's my First Question - Is this True? My Second question is - i would like to purchase a quad core processor and a new video card to be able to play the latest games i have without having to bring the settings down. Also, i need it to be under 400 dollars Any suggestions? Thanks all for your help
Well its a 600 watt power supply. the brand is Corsair the enthusiast series ATX 12v Crossfire and Sli Ready.
Only the specific ones listed. IMO, it could be worth it if you can find a 9850 X4 or similar at a low price. PowerColor AX6850 1GBD5-DH Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity
i also saw that i would be capped out a 1000mhz due to the motherboard being so old. should i just stick to something along those speeds? And would i be experiencing any sort of bottleneck? thanks for your help Hellokitty
Thanks, I went ahead and i got the Phenom X4 i'm stuck at 1,000mhz but the processor was only 1,200 so the 200 arent really that important to me. Thanks for your help
