Hey all - I am upgrading to the e6600. Looking at the p35 chipset... ASUS, Giga, MSI etc.

I think I am set on the P5K mobo but not sure I should drop the extra 100 bones on the "deluxe" version. The difference I read thus far is DDR3 compatibility once those chips arrive.

Is there any specific reason to go for the deluxe version? I don't need Wi-FI. I alread am running a wireless nic pci card...

Any thoughts before I dive in are welcome.

    Thanks!

    Bman.

Hmm.. I just noticed that the deluxe will support 1333 FSB where as the P5k will fetch 1066.

    Hmm.

Deluxe version is a better board, with a better manual, and a more expensive price... and is usually more, gooder, better, and so on.
