I have a computer that has two 1 gig sticks of CM2X1024-6400C4 XMS2 DDR2 duel channel memory that run great. This is all set to Auto detect so I just plugged them in and they posted. I decided to go out and buy the same two sticks so I can upgrade to vista with 4 gigs of Ram. I installed the two sticks I just got today and it did not post but gave me a long beep and I had to shut it down with the power button . I then removed 1 of the sticks and it booted up no problem and reads 3 gigs. What could be the problem? I want this system to hold the 4 gigs. I'm using Windows XP now and plan on switching to Vista 64bit tonight. Do I have to set my own timings instead of relying on autodetect? Please Help.

3 DB is a common read with WXP on that board. You may find that VISTA will read all four gigabytes. There is more explanation on the ASUS site.
