    Hi,

I recently put together a new pc and am having trouble with the onboard audio. The problem specifically is the microphone. I use vent to play games online and for some reason the noise cancellation doesn't work. This means that audio coming out of my speakers is transmitted to the mic. This is very annoying for the person on the other end. I have tried several drivers and none seem to help. I'm using windows xp. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you properly configured the motherboards audio header?
