ASUS TV FM Card drivers not XP compatible or certified?

By macx

  1. I bought an ASUS TV tuner card to go with my ASUS board, etc etc.

When I tried to download the drivers off the CD that came with it,
a dialogue box opened that said the drivers were not Windows tested
or certified, that the normal Windows certification (or whatever) statement
wasn't on the CD, and that installing the drivers might destabilize my system.

The CD says it's for Win 2K/XP.

    ??????

    Thanks for any help.

I've emailed ASUS support, but it may take awhile to get an answer.

They just have not pased the logo tests so it's not certified by Microsoft. It doesn't mean you will have problems.

There may be new WHQL drivers, sometimes windows update will find them. To talk to Asus you should use the phone. I don't think they answer emails.
