Ati x1050 blank monitor problem

Hi i bought a ati x1050 graphics card and when i turn my comp on i see the windows loading screen then it just goes blank.

I am Running
Windows XP SP2
ATI X1050
AMD Sempron 2.4 GHZ
768 RAM

What computer model, or motherboard do you have?
The graphics card is 256MB DDR SDRAM - PCI Express x16. Does the Online documentation report that your system will support this card?
