    hey... I am trying to capture video onto my parents PC to edit it. I have an ATI A-I-W Radeon 7500 video card. I'm just downloading the drivers and a box came up that couldn't find this file or codec. Does anyone know anything about it? Thanx

    well I'm trying to move video from their VCR to the PC using an AV cord. Never tried it before, only done it with a camcorder thru the AV (camera doesn't haven't firewire), so we'll c :) But the codec atinmdxx.sys comes up as I install the drivers not when I try to transfer video to the computer. Any ideas?

    Make sure your parents PC is fully updated using Windows Update. If it is XP, make sure Service Pack 3 is installed. If it is Vista, make sure Service Pack 1 is installed. What is the model of the ATI video card. Do you have the ATI Catalyst Control Center installed?
