I am looking at a server chassis. It accepts EATX motherboards. Is it possible to just mount a standard ATX motherboard in it? I understand that since ATX is smaller than EATX, I would not use all of the mounting holes, but are the holes that would be used spaced the same on both types of boards? Thanks a lot for any help on this matter.

You should be able to mount a ATX board in most EATX cases/chassis.

I have a EATX chassis with a ATX board in it.
