audio card driver problem

  1. I recently reinstalled xp. however I no longer have the drivers for the sis 7012 card. I think its onboard (it says sis7012 ac97 in bios). i recently installed sis 7012 pci drivers the drivers installed fine but i still have no sound.
    also how do i find out what make my motherboard is?

  2. hi i need help fixing my multimedia audio controller. When i go to device
    manager my multimedia audio controller has a exclamation mark and a question
    mark. It says i need to installed it again. so i doubled clicked multimedia
    audio player and i pressed reinstall driver. I clicked there and it said The
    hardware was not installed beacuse the wizard cannot find the necessary
    software. What do i need to do to install the multimedia audio controller. Thank
    you very much
