So you have an Acer or a Toshiba computer?
You can locate the Model number either underneath the laptop? Or on the front or back of the Desktop? computer

Instead of posting EVEREST, in future when you need hardware driver support just post you Manufacture and Model number

You can go to this Topic: https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic117607.html
Locate your Model of computer, and then download your updated drivers (not just Audio, but all the updated drivers, except for Bios, which is a bit critical if unsure)

I hope this helps :)

thanks a lot, the audio's back on, and it's an Eeepc lol, but yea i just put the make and model in and got it. i was looking in all the wrong places. thanks again !
