Audio question re: Media Player Classic

I have an AVI file that is in French and English. Media Player will allow me to select which language I want to hear (they both play but English is muted). Is there a way using Media Player that I can save the file in English only? I'd like to burn it.

Thanks for any help.

Hmm... this may be an alternate solution.. Would it be OK to burn it as a DVD-Video file? (that way you should be able to play it on any home DVD player as well. I THINK Medial Player needs codecs to play DVDs but there are plenty of free players for computers (like VLC and KMPlayer) that play DVDs on computers "as is"

To convert AVI to DVD (and custom edit the language) and even combine multiple video files check out DVD Flick might help (and it's free!).. HERE's the Help Guide (note you select language under Audio Tracks)

I've only used DVD flick a couple times but seemed pretty good
