Auto-re-boot whenever i turn the WLan switch on

My girlfriends laptop is a Sony Vaio running Windows Vista.

whenever I turn the internet wireless Lan switch on, the computer automatically reboots itself. I cant update anything or use the internet. I cant fix the blue screen error because I cant access the internet. I need help.

Go to Control Panel, System, Advanced System Settings, Start up and recovery. Uncheck automatically restart, and while you are there, uncheck time to display a list of operating systems and select small minidump (256mb) You don't need to access the Internet to post any minidumps. Go to C:\windows\minidump. Minidump files have a .dmp extension. Select all the .dmp files. Right-click sending the files to a compressed(zipped)folder. Upload that folder as a file here
