Automatic Reboot with Hiberation

Help!!!! All of the sudden my PC is acting funny. Everytime it goes into powersave mode and then you "awaken" it by moving the mouse--even if its only be 10 or 20 minutes it reboots the entire system. Randomly, yesterday, the entire cached internet file was deleted, but none of the cookies. I am running Windows XP. Not sure if I've got a virus (nothing shows up on virus scan) or a trojan horse or what the deal is. Anybody have any ideas?? Thanks!
Sarah

Hibernation is full of bugs. It is perhaps one of THE most stupidest things Windows has ever invented (excluding windows 2000)... Just try to use standby instead although this also may cause problems.

Alright, so I checked it out, and I was wrong--I'm not actually hibernating--I'm going into powersave mode--and the moment the monitor turns off for powersave is when the problem starts--if I move the mouse to "wake" it up, it reboots--any ideas??
