Avast virus?

  1. Avast seems to be calling itself a virus now, or at least its updates. Avast's forums are down. Anyone know whats going on?

    Did backtracking on Download117.avast
    IP DOES NOT trace to Avast. Its a hacker.

    hmm; when I logged on this morning, Avast! Free updated quite normally.

    We have over 170 clients using Avast free version... no significant negative reports are coming in... and do not see worrisome problems with the free version over the paid one... except for convenience.

    Do you update everyday your Anti-virus? You have to update it as many times as you can whenever you put flash drive on it. I am using Avast and nothing seems to be the problem.
