AVG Resident Shield

Hi Folks.
I have just downloaded AVG 8.5 free Virusware. I have completed all the updates, but inspite of this I am unable to activate the Resident Shield. Does anybody know what I have to do to get it out of the red and into the green (activated).

Might be a silly question ... but did your Restart your computer after installation??
