My AVG Anti-Virus said that I need to restart it but I don't know how to do that.
I have the free edition I click on update then it said I may not be covered becouse I need to restart it. Can anyone tell me what to do.

    Thanks

    Hmm

They just mean to restart your computer
But by now you probably know that ;)

By the way, I don't like AVG8 Antivirus, I use free Avira Antivirus I find it to be way better :)

I also have Avast on a computer and it really slows thing down. Is the Avira better than Avast?

    Thanks,
    Charlie

Yes, as I said, I find Avira to be way better (than all of them)
It does come down to User choice though, I prefer Avira, after running hundreds of tests with all of them ;)

By the way, if you decide to uninstall AVG (and Avast it seems!), you must also run the AVG removal tool (seeming it won't uninstall without it !)

Note: Always use one Antivirus only
