blahblahblah. i tried looking at C:\ with hidden files/folders shown, but i can't find this. it takes FOREVER to scan this folder, what is this??

recycle.bin is that - your recycling bin. Every file you press "delete" on, if you don't do a permanant delete (shift+Del) it will go to there, untill you permanantly remove it from your system. And don't forget that the recycling bin may also span all your HDDs/partitions if you still have files awaiting deletion or not..

advice: clean out your bin, empty it if you know you won't need those files again. That should speed up your scan somewhat..

hmm.. i don't have a clue.. try downloading spacemonger and scan that drive. If there is anything on the recylcing bin then it will tell you from there. You can probably exclude it from scanning the next time, but i'm sure you wouldn't do that...
