  1. I keep getting the the following error message.

The application or dll C:\windows\system32\wsg.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your diskette.

I looked in system 32 folder and cant find the wsg32dll
Its not causing any trouble really and I can still do all my work but I get this message about 30 times during boot up and every time i open a program. Can anyone help please. I cant even reinstall windows off my disk as i get the message that i am running a more up to date version. My system restore wont work either.

What is the brand and model of your computer, or your motherboard, and your hard drive?
Any chance you have a hardware error.
You may benefit from attempting a Repair install of Windows from your install disk if it is a version that will tolerate it.
Is it possible that your error notice is actually wsc32.dll. I am not familiar with the file you list. If you are running games or certain video graphics, could it be fixable with this: free wsc32 dll download?
