Bad VGA driver?

    I recently upgraded my 8600GTS driver to 164.0x (the one that was recently released) so I can play crysis, everything runs perfectly fine but when I reboot my computer, I'm stuck at the POST screen for a good 5mins (no lie), then another 2minutes waiting for the winxp logo to come out. But after that, everything is fine, the only reason why I think its the driver is because when I had 163.xx my boot up takes no longer than 3minutes. Any help would be appreciated

    POST takes place before any operating system or any drivers are loaded. So, assuming that you know what POST is and that you are actually stuck there, your problem is not the drivers.
