Balancing life and video games as an adult: Some time management tips

I usually get about 3 hours a night to game, which to me seems like quite a bit, but not nearly as much as I used to. So, I try to break that 3 hours up into 3 games, an hour apiece. I've got Rocket League, State of Decay, and Halo MCC on my rotation right now, and I'll play two of those until completion. I don't think Rocket League is going off the list for quite some time. Such a fun game.

People choose to do negative things to be spiteful to society.
hmm; I think it's called escapism; do any thing other than deal with the current set of issues. Instead of gaming, I go for a good movie (define that according to your preferences). But at the end of the day, all the things that got ignored in doing so are [a] still there and (b) got worse due to not taking prompt action.

I don't watch much on television compared to many people I know. I find it I'm tired and want to "veg out" I'll end up watching some broadcast TV, old habit of flicking between channels to find something to watch and end up watching half of a film I've seen half a dozen times before. But usually its on demand stuff from Netflix or Amazon. That way I can watch a couple of episodes or a movie when I feel like it, but a lot of the time I'd rather play a game with some friends online than watch trash on TV. With so much reality crap and junk quiz shows and "Police, Camera, Action" type shows I really don't think I miss out on much.
