BattleChess / Win 7

I have an old, old, old copy of attleChess that I really enjoy. My new laptop runs Win' 7 and would not let me install BC. I assume because of 32 vs 64 bit OS.
Is there is version that works w/ Win' 7 ( that I haven't been able to find ) or a way to make mine work on this laptop?
