Hmmm couldn't say for sure. If you don't get a low ping (<40ms consistently) then I'd say you'd be going less than ideal. My experience was I was having issues when my ping drifted up to 60ms or greater (usually due to local connection traffic).

From what I'm reading off BF3 forums, you'll want about double that - I.e. at least 1mbps.

512kbps connection? Assuming this is ADSL, then your upload will be even more terrible.

Tethering to your 3G mobile phone would give you a better experience most likely.

Darth Shiv- from what I heard there are no servers for bf3 in india,we have to use china's server thus giving a ping of around 100ms
@st1ckm4n- yes I thought about tethering but since I have limited 3g plan on my mobile it would be nice to know how much will be the internet usage if I play for 1 hour?
