Hey. I have been playing a game called Battlefield heroes since early beta. It is now getting into the last stages of beta, and the security layer has been take off the website. I ask of everyone here now to go onto the site, download the game and play it. I guarantee that you will not be dissappointed. The game can be found at:

At heart, it is a third person shooter. It is sort of a mix between battlefield 1942 and team fortress 2, in the sense that it has a "tickets" system, and CTF for gaining spawn points. These two are the 1942 similarites. But the TF2 similarities are in that you play as classes, with abilities. There are also 2 sides, Royal and National. These sides pit against each other in each match. Also, the three classes, commando, gunner and soldier are there to choose as well. Each of these classes has different strengths and weaknesses. Such as the commando, who has weak health etc. But can stealh himself and is also the only class that can get hold of a sniper rifle.
But, i havnt mentioned that the game is online only? well, it is. It is also truly free to play. There is a system of paying for battlefunds, but these are only credits spent on premium clothing etc. They still occaisionly bring out free premium items anyway, so no biggy if you dont like to pay anything. This game sound like fun to you? I assure you, you really have to try the game to get the full impact of it. It really is very good. So once again.
