    I believe most or even all of the moderators are helpful and also they have been with 3DS for quite some time already. That's why you see most of them having many post.

    Re: Re: The "REAL" uncleel

    Even in real life, over my short life of experience i have seen and heard some adults having immature or childish attitudes.

    I just cannot put the same amount of time into moderating that the other moderators do. Believe me, they do a lot of good work. I actually forfitted moderatorship quite a while ago, Arris took my place moderating the old hardware forum :)

    I thank thee for including me in such honoured company :)

    But your point is very valid...
    It's not about how much you're posting, but the quality in your posts...

    And for me both have dropped after I took a little trip out of this world... ;)
    (Never knew I'd get so far in the Conservative Youth movement so fast, and how much work it really is... But, by golly, it's great fun! :D)

    Basically the way it works is, "We notice you!"
    You are recruited due to the:
    * Quality of your posts & answers.
    * Your attitude. (friendly, helpful, & genuine)
    * Your forum leadership & management skills.
    * Your loyality to 3DS.

    Then we discuss your profile & your potential on the Famous secret tread everyone is talking about... We might chat w/ you Via PM or ICQ, get to know you. Then if the majority of Forum Leaders agree, you're admitted to PDF & "in the pool" from which mods are drawn.

    Bobes decided being a mod was taking away from his staff duties as Senior Hardware Editor. Most importantly, you must have the time & the dedication to devote to the "job" of being a mod.
