Belkin Router Modem

I have a belkin wireless router/modem. I keep main pc hard wired and others wireless.

If I leave it ovenight for example and do not use it for a few hours, I tend (not always) to get disconnected ,

PWR light = on
SYN light = on
DATA light = off
WLAN light = on

The only way to get all 4 lights back on is to restart the router by logging in and clicking restart or switch on and off.

All I get from belkin is update firmware. Is this an issue with the router or the ISP? I am with Tiscali business package, unlimited download.

Did you? My son has one of these and has not had this experience.

With all computers powered off (wireless too), then the DATA light should show
traffic on the net (ie: other users in the area) and the other lights solid on.

It is always possible for the ISP to reset connections and there are serveral
reason why, but on the whole, they would very much like NOT to have this
occur. It's just too disruptive and causes complaints like yours.
