Look for a program called Q3Bench - it does everything for you. Changes res and stores framerates. It's great. You can even export out tab delimited and import that into excel.

    Edit:

    Here it is

i think it went pretty well. im using a geforce 2 ti right now with an t-bird 1.4 ghz... and heres what i got

    NORMAL Configuration File Settings:
    (640x480) 130.9, 130.9, 130.8, AVERAGE FPS: 130.87
    (800x600) 123.6, 123.8, 123.8, AVERAGE FPS: 123.73
    (1024x768) 92.7, 92.7, 92.7, AVERAGE FPS: 92.70
    (1280x1024) 54.9, 54.9, 54.9, AVERAGE FPS: 54.90

    HIGH Configuration File Settings:
    (640x480) 130.6, 130.5, 130.6, AVERAGE FPS: 130.57
    (800x600) 123.9, 123.9, 124.0, AVERAGE FPS: 123.93
    (1024x768) 92.7, 92.7, 92.8, AVERAGE FPS: 92.73
    (1280x1024) 54.9, 54.9, 54.9, AVERAGE FPS: 54.90

    MAX Configuration File Settings:
    (640x480) 129.3, 129.5, 129.4, AVERAGE FPS: 129.40
    (800x600) 117.8, 117.8, 117.9, AVERAGE FPS: 117.83
    (1024x768) 84.3, 84.3, 84.3, AVERAGE FPS: 84.30
    (1280x1024) 50.5, 50.5, 50.5, AVERAGE FPS: 50.50

it suffered at the 1280x1024 mark but it was pretty solid at 1024x768 which is what i play with. thanks again for that link.

No prob - I would post my results, but I don't want it to seem like I'm bragging. Good performance though especially for a G2.
