    i wanna know which graphics card is best suited for my pc.my system config. is as follows:
    p4 2.4
    intel 845 motherboard with 1 pci slot.
    1.25 gb ram.
    budget is not an issue

    A little more info is needed here...
    what is the motherboard/computer make and model number? Is this a store bought system or a home built computer?

    You might have an AGP slot, in which case there are some options, but we need to know what kind of motherboard/slot you have first. If worst comes to worst, take a picture of the inside of your case, and upload it. We will be able to tell you which kind of slot you have.
