Okay, I went and looked everywhere for this one and couldn't find exactly what it was telling me. I could be blind because i have been working at this for hours and eyes are burning but here goes...
reboot from bugcheck. 0x100000d1 (0xb3c3b630, 0x00000002, 0x00000008, 0xb3c3b630). I went to the link on the help center and it said dl'd the hotfix that will either fix it or completely mess up everything on my computer and possibly worse.... so i thought i might ask around first and research the problem before taking that leap...
The reboot only happens when i try to join a server in bf2. Login, splash screen, options and everything else works fine till i try to join.

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3500+
RAM: 2Gig Corsair 1066 (running at 800)
GFX: Nvidia Gforce 9800gt 512
HD: 80Gig Sata Barracuda 7200.7
Motherboard: Asus M3A78
