i dont know if its me but when i run doom 3 with 1024x768 (high)
exactly the same settings as the ones used on the hardocp benchmarks

evertime i open doors it kind of glitches on me and then all the fans run a little faster, the door opens and the fans slow down again

is it because im running 512mb ddr on a dual-channel motehrboard?

what doors? what fans? i wasn't quitew clear on what you were trying to say.

it shouldn't cause any problems, provided the moedules themselves are compatible and work with the board and each other.

sorry im kind of new to this:p

let me "try" to explain

my motherboard is dual channel memory

but i didnt buy my memory is pairs ddr2 or whatever

just one stick of 512mb

Games do not require dual channel memory. The BIOS on your board will automatically switch to dual channel when two memory modules are put in the proper slots. As far as your other problem with the graphics in Doom 3, there could be a lot of reasons why the game would do that. Because of the thousands of different hardware combination possibilities, a glitch is inevitable. Just read some game forums, there are countless gamers with glitches large and small. I have yet to see a game that has run 100% glitch free. If this does not help you in any way, then try the game forums specifically for Doom 3. I've listed one below.
