You don't know a damned thing about me. I thing abortion should be legal, and the 2nd amendment should remain intact. I think that when a protest turns into a riot, martial law should be declared, and looters, arsonists, and thugs, should be shot.

You apparently can't read, among your other faults. I said that stand your ground is legit. But you can't purposefully put yourself in the middle of a riot with an AR-15, and claim "self defense" either.

It's two entirely different concepts. if someone is trying to come into your house for any nefarious purpose, by all means, blow them away. You have my blessing.

Well, try to think of it this way; if you traveled 20 miles to a place where an unarmed person told you he was waiting to rob you, and you summarily shot him, that's murder.

If you were walking down the street minding your own business, and someone tried to rob you and you shot him (or her), that's self defense.

The finer points of this discussion seem to be bypassing you. Whether that's on purpose or accidentally, remains to be determined.

In the strictest sense, "self defense" attaches when all other remedies are exhausted or unavailable.
