Bios driver upgrade

  1. Murumbmol Newcomer, in training

    specifications:
    HDD: 40gb
    RAM: 256mb
    Processor: Intel Celeron 2.4 Ghz/256/533
    Board: Aopen s661FXm
    BIOS: PhoenixBios D686 212227218

    Problem: Dead blue screen appeared during boot up with the old HDD i was working on. tried every possible ways to get running but to no avail. changed the HDD to reformat, same thing happend, during the install the stop screen appears. changed the CMOS battery, ram card, swapping ram card into different slots, changed the processors (same as previous), checked the capacitors and all are okay. now i suspect its something wrong with the board. could it be the BIOS? if so, i am thinking of ugrading its BIOS. please help i'm stuck.
