Computer DELL XPS M1710
3 years old.
1 fan was replaced last year. Now all fans work ok.
Problem before I tried to repair it : Black screen appeared after DELL logo, green vertical lines.
Problem after:
Tried safe mode - works ok. But as I don't know almost anything about computers - I tried to reinstall windows xp in safe mode.
Inserted windows XP installation cd. computer restarted, I press F12 but cannot choose safe mode again as appears black screen again with this message : "The system is not fully installed. Please run setup again"
when i press OK - DELL logo is loading and then the same message
"The system is not fully installed. Please run setup again."
Are there anything that i can do? can professional resolve this problem?
Or shall i just throw it in a bin?
