Black screen when launching games

    Hello i got this little problem.Its with games sometimes when i launch them(this issue goes for most of them)my pc goes black screen.Whats causing this?Has something been damaged?Is it overheating?im willing to try anything.Anyway when it does go black screen i cant do anything so i cant do anything but hold down the power button.ALT-TAB dosent work either.

    Could you give us a little more info?
    What version of windows are you running?
    What hardware is in your comp? CPU, gpu, ram, Motherboard etc.
    Is this a new build or a pc you've had for awhile?
    Have you done anything to try and fix it?
