Blank Google Map

When I went to Google Map, all I got was a blank map with just the scale bar on the left. If I entered an address, I can see the red arrow but there was no map. What did I miss or corrupt?

Yes, I am running IE 6.0. I didn't have this problem before. It happened after a couple crashes.

I downloaded Firefox 2.0 and google map worked ok with it. So what does IE require to see the map?

I'm not sure. Maybe reinstall IE6. Try Windows Update.
