Hello Everyone,
I have sucessfully reformatted my C: and reinstalled Windows XP Pro on it according to the tutorial. My problem is that after all is said and done, and it reboots the final time to start Windows for the 1st time, It gets to the "windows XP Pro" screen with the sweeping bar at the bottom, but then it doesn't get to the login screen - just stays black. If I reboot, and start up in safe mode, i am able to get to the login screen and access the desktop. I tried reloading my display drivers while in safe mode and rebooting, but this did not work either. Please let me know what add'l info you may need to assist me, and i will re-post. Thanks, your help is appreciated.
