Blank screen during Windows XP setup

    Ok ive installed xp on this comp numerous times and now when i reformat it gets all the way to selecting a partition and then the screen gets fuzzy and then clear again, then it goes blank and back to a blue screen with a bunch of white lines through it, then it goes blank again like its in sleep mode and my monitor says its getting no signal anybody got any ideas?

    It could be the graphics card going bad. Has this happened more than once and at the same place?
