    ive noticed with the new computer i have gotten that i can download and play blu ray movies but i dont know what this means but i can play 720p but when i try to play 1080p the movies starts freezing up.could this be a videocard issue being my video card is intergrated on boaurd and not ont i have put in or is it an issue that can be resolved thanks for your help. :)

    Are you playing from an actual Bluray disk?? Is there special software that came with your bluray drive/computer for playing Bluray? In my opinion you probably don't have enough CPU cycles (based on your public profile) to play 1080p video if has been encoded into anything other than possibly VC1 or mpeg-2.

    im no playing disk just dvd rips and i have a 2.8 i belive processor which is plenty for playing hd and blu ray.what do you mean cpu cycles and do you think i can fix this with the right codect?thanks for your help.

    the celoron processor is not enough to play 1080p.
